Hey there Fans of Undead Drawings and Zombie Artwork! It’s me, your Zombie Artist for the people, Rob Sacchetto! Today I’m back with a new Living Dead Head, and I’ll be bringing you more from this series over the next few days, as I clear out the “Heads of the Living Dead” series files. So for the next little while you will be privy to several new rotten, twisted, ghastly and grotesque Zombie Heads that have been decomposing in their graves for a week or so! Be careful, they’re ripe and ravenous! In coming up with new and different heads for this mega series, I’ve really tried to imagine what the texture of any given zombie might be, and then try to recreate it in paint and pen and ink. Often, I’ll think of a texture that may not belong to a zombie, like scales, or brick, or even grass, and attempt to apply it in the effort to see if I can come up with a new sub-species of zombie. It’s really a lot of fun, and the process has yielded quite a few neat designs and inspired many others.

Thanks for stopping in today Zombie Nation! I hope that you liked today’s post, and I hope to see you again soon in the near future!
